Delete Your Apiaryum Account

This page explains how Apiaryum users can request account deletion and what happens to their data after the request is processed.
How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion in one of these ways:
- Inside the app: Open Apiaryum, go to Settings, open the Account section, tap Delete Account, type DELETE, and confirm.
- Outside the app: Send an email to support@apiaryum.com with the subject line Apiaryum account deletion request.
What to Include in an Email Request
To help us locate the correct account, include as much of the following as you can:
- The email address linked to your Apiaryum account.
- Your username, if available.
- A short statement that you want your Apiaryum account and associated data deleted.
How We Verify the Request
- For security reasons, we may ask you to confirm the request from the email address linked to the account.
- We may ask follow-up questions if we need to make sure we are deleting the correct account.
- We will never ask you to send your password by email.
Anonymous Accounts
If you use Apiaryum anonymously without linking the account to an email address or another sign-in method, we usually cannot reliably identify that account outside the app. In that case, account deletion must be completed inside the app on the device where the account was created.
What Data Gets Deleted
When an account deletion request is completed, the account and associated Apiaryum data are permanently deleted. This can include:
- Account credentials - email, sign-in data, and Firebase Authentication record.
- Profile information - username, display name, country, preferences, and related profile settings.
- Beekeeping data - apiaries, hives, queens, inspections, tasks, notes, history logs, storage items, and financial records stored for the account.
- Media files - photos, audio recordings, and other files stored for the account.
- Local device data - locally stored app data is removed when deletion is completed in the app or when the app data is cleared from the device.
Data That May Be Retained
In limited cases, we may retain the minimum data necessary for legitimate reasons such as legal compliance, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, chargeback handling, or security investigations. If retention is required, the retained data is kept only as long as necessary for that purpose.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Apiaryum account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel the subscription separately through the Google Play subscriptions page.
